InSite Drama created a debate theatre performance for 11-14 year olds to enhance discussion, sensitise and empower students in relation to issues of social injustice and bullying. Over 550 children took part in the 7 performances in different parts of Budapest, 50 copies of the booklet were distributed to teachers of the participating groups to help their follow-up work with the students. Besides the three actors and one actor/moderator specialists from two fields shared information within the program about the issues discussed openly by the participants. Based on feedback collected anonymously from teachers the project was successful in fostering discussion; in sharing information; in creating possibilities for further teacher intervention and offering a model for teachers to engage in social issues.
