InSite will be conducting a large scale research to map up the different approaches and activities in the field of Hungarian theatre education. The research will reach out to around 150 theatre companies, but will be investigating sixty thoroughly to produce a descriptive account of the current state of the field in Hungary, for the benefit of parents, teachers, funders and professionals working with theatre and education.
We are currently in the phase of engaging all major theatre and drama organisation in consultation about the specific theatres that will be included in the research and also the aspects of the work that will be researched.
We hope to publish the results of the research in the autumn.
